The principle of this operation is to repair the physical after-effects of pregnancy through a combination of different surgical procedures.

In general, plastic surgeons limit themselves to 2 or 3 operations per procedure: this reduces the risks and shortens the recovery time.

The three most commonly performed mommy makeover surgeries are as follows:

• Abdominoplasty: this operation is similar to a tummy tuck. It tightens the skin of the abdomen, which tends to sag after pregnancy.
