The Bangkok International Dental Center (BIDC) is a seven-storey private dental centre on Ratchadaphisek Road in Bangkok. Accredited by the JCI since 2012[1] and ISO 9001:2015 certified, it brings together over 70 dentists[2] and runs clinics at Siam Paragon, EmQuartier, Phuket and Chiang Mai.
The centre has treated international patients since 2004.[3] It belongs to Dental Corporation Public Company Limited and, across 4,800 m², houses more than 25 treatment rooms, a prosthetics laboratory, a 30-room hotel, a bank and a restaurant.[4]
Bangkok International Dental Center covers four areas:
Dental implantology: the centre places Straumann implants (including Roxolid and SLActive), Nobel Biocare, Brånemark, Neodent and SIC.[5] Crowns and bridges are made in the on-site laboratory.
Aesthetic dentistry: IPS e.max ceramic veneers, zirconia or ceramic crowns, full smile makeovers (“Hollywood Smile”).
Orthodontics: Invisalign, for which BIDC obtained Black Diamond Provider 2024 status in Thailand[6], and conventional fixed braces.
Oral surgery: complex extractions, bone grafts and sinus lift. Intravenous sedation and general anaesthesia are carried out at Bangkok International Dental Hospital (BIDH), run by the same group on Sukhumvit Soi 2.[7]

BIDC’s team includes over 70 dentists, general practitioners and specialists: implantologists, prosthodontists, orthodontists, endodontists, periodontists and maxillofacial surgeons.[9] Several have supplemented their Thai training (Chulalongkorn, Mahidol) with studies in the United States.

Initial contact: the patient sends their X-rays via the centre’s online form, which replies with a treatment plan and a quote.
On-site consultation: clinical examination, 3D scan if necessary, then validation of the treatment plan.
Treatments: prostheses are made in the on-site laboratory, which shortens the wait between appointments.
Post-operative follow-up: the centre provides instructions and prescriptions. Ask for the warranty conditions in writing before starting treatment.
Access: the centre is about 400 metres from MRT Thailand Cultural Centre station (exit 4).[10] From Suvarnabhumi Airport, the Airport Rail Link goes to Makkasan, with a connection to the MRT at Phetchaburi station.
Languages spoken: consultations are in English or Thai. The official website also announces assistance in Japanese, Chinese and Burmese.[3]
Airport transfer: the centre can book a hotel limousine on arrival and departure. The fare must be requested from the centre or hotel.[11]

Length of stay: allow 2 to 3 days for simple treatments and 7 to 10 days for complex cases. An implant generally requires two stays, spaced 3 to 6 months apart between the post and the final crown.
Duration of procedures: about 45 to 60 minutes for a simple implant, 2 to 3 hours per arch for All-on-4, one impression session for Invisalign.

What is the difference between BIDC and a UK dental clinic?
BIDC has been JCI accredited since 2012, a rare accreditation for a dental centre. Its published fees are generally lower than in the UK, but flights and accommodation add to the budget. Consultations are in English.
How does the treatment process work for UK patients?

This place is highly recommended! My friend had their wisdom teeth removed here and was feeling fine just a few days later. I came here for some dentist and orthodontist needs and they took care of me with a lot of care. Honestly, super grateful to have such a trustworthy and professional place nearby!
Modern, affordable, and high quality. I had some unexpected dental work done (root canal, crown replacement) and they got it all done in 6 days before I had to fly back to the USA. Easily would have cost 3x more back home. Totally recommend!
I came to clean my teeth today. I don't have an appointment, but the doctor is free, good doctors and nurses, receptionists, and Chinese service. The cleaning process is very smooth, there are too many dental stones, but also injected with anesthetic, the cleaning is very clean and comfortable, no pain.
I like this place and went several times with others before becoming a patient. I like the customer service and the doctors. It is clean and modern. Deducting a star because they offered me a discount for leaving a Google review on the spot. I did not accept, but I do not like this practice of incentivizing reviews, especially when they tell you about this “discount” as you are about to pay.
Honestly they are the best dentist I have been to. Clean polite professional knowledgeable, my experience was awesome with Dr. Suthida Tunsiriroongruang. They are very upfront with their pricing which was a nice surprise coming from the US.
My first visit was back in 2022. Left with more crowns then the the king of England... I'm back again for a full check up. The entire set-up is just top notch. Six floors of dental specialists. All nurses and doctors are super friendly and very professional.
I have to be honest it is a Dentist, it is not like going to Disneyland or something. But the staff is very nice,and highly professional. Combined with fair prizes, and Holiday's in one of the most Beautiful Country on this planet (Thailand) I can just recommend visiting BIDC.
I had some composite bonding done in Singapore ( Royal Smile) after reading some 5 * reviews.It did give me the Hollywood white but the application was bordering on dangerously illegal in the dentistry world standards.My husband’s bonding gave him a very bad breath, it started smelling bad after about 2 weeks into the bonding being applied.We could not put a finger to it until we went on a holiday to Bangkok.We decided to google for a dentist and chanced upon BIDC.We were allocated Dr Jirach S.He is such a young chap, ever so patient he explained all the ‘overhangs’ that’s trapping food which explains the smells.It was so bad you could hang a floss on tooth where it attaches to gum line.I had all my composite removed.Dr Jirach was really careful not to remove my real enamel and I must say he’s done a great job.I strongly recommend this dental centre as they are all dentist, not beauticians who cares only about the smile and colour of tooth.
1 year ago I had an wisdom tooth pulled out. My health has severely changed with chronic sinusitis caused by bacteria building up.I believe the staff need to be better trained and if they are not ready should be supervised during surgery. I’m still suffering to this day.
The customer service was abysmal. Despite being informed the day before that the consultation with the specialist was free, they attempted to charge us afterwards. They tried hard. It was imposible to reach someone senior to address the issue.
I had a excellent experience from the Dentist's and support staff at BIDC from moment I first e mailed them until I left the centre a very happy customer.The BIDC were able to accommodate my tight time frames to have the dental work completed.The Dentist's explained what was going to happen and the time it would take.I have never experienced this level service and professionalism from my dental clinic at my home country.It was worth the trip to Bangkok to have this dental treatment. Had two wisdom teeth out here whilst back packing around SE Asia. Honestly all the staff here are absolute angels, I was so scared to get my teeth taken out and the ladies who done it were just so amazing. The assistant rubbed my shoulder the whole time whilst the dentist reassured me everything would be ok. She was so amazing, I’ve had no pain after, the practise is absolutely spotless, genuinely the best dentist I’ve ever been too. Thank you all so much for taking good care of me. Highly recommend this clinic.
I had three wisdom teeth that needed to be removed. One was broken, another decayed, and a third impacted. In the USA I waited 6 months for a consultation where they then told me I needed to wait even longer! I could not bear to wait any longer and I was able to come to BIDC on my third day of a trip to Thailand. They removed all 3 teeth the same day and I felt immediate relief. I even rode the metro home afterward. The impacted tooth was expected to cause me pain but today is the second day and I feel fine. My surgeon was so kind and even funny. This was the best dental experience of my life and now I can enjoy my trip free of pain! If you are feeling any hesitation about getting dental work abroad, there is no need to worry. My total costs were about $400 total for 3 wisdom tooth extractions, pain medication, and antibiotics. I'm going to return for a cleaning before I go!

Absolutely horrible place. The doctors are horrible. They did not even check my teeth, and straight away pushed an x-ray check and implant. No consultation nothing. Literally asked me if I am an expert what I wanted to do. The reason I am going there is to ger consultation and advice from them not the other way around.The place is rundown. Empty. The doctors seem like they give 0% about the patients’ concerns. A dentist is not a water park where the patients just choose what they want.
